The new CITIES: SkyLines 2 shows a gameplay of public and freight vehicles

CITIES: SkyLines 2, an ambitious continuation of the tunnel simulator of urban planning from the returning developer Colossal Order, released the next update Feature Highlight. It presents buses, taxis, cargo harbor and much more.

CITIES: Skylines II will enter the market on October 24, 2023. It will be available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S.

The transportation of people and goods looks like more than ever thoughtful and exciting, with many options, each of which has its own unique advantages and disadvantages.

It is nice to see how flexible each of the new mechanics is, which will be very accessible to beginners in the series. For example, trains can transport both people and goods, and the subway can use the aboveground tracks. This can help the players get out of a difficult situation by entering them into the existing design, but at the same time will give your city a completely new personality.

All types of public transport require unique management and can be freely woven into existing or growing cities. In addition, it seems that the public management will progress evenly with the needs for new modes of transport.

Trains, ships and planes were in the spotlight for cargoes. Undoubtedly, players will delight the possibility of trading with other cities – the missing element, which will undoubtedly add more realism. And although the graphics are not impressive compared to the previous Feature Highlights, the description warns that the in -game personnel are not final.

Ultimately, it is pleasant to see how multi -purpose the transport in Cits: Skylines II will become, thanks to some new mechanics, in particular, the addition of the outside world with which you can interact. Any of the modes of transport may well be a topic for their own simulator game.
